New Journal
The premier issue of Magnapoets journal, edited by our friend Aurora Antonovic, has just appeared. The journal will be published biannually. For information regarding submissions and subscriptions, go to http://www.magnapoets.com. Single copies are $5; a 2-issue annual subscription, $10.
Contents include an interview with Robert Pinsky, former poet laureate of the United States, fiction, poetry (including a poem by my friend Collin Barber), short stories, articles, and tanka. And, of course, haiku and senryu, including two of mine, which I'll be posting here in the near future.

change
No, I'm not running for president. But you may notice some changes, made in the interests of clarity, in the list of links to the left. Most of the blogs are now identified by the owner's name. This will help especially if you want to explore the work of one of our frequent visitors.

[February 4 is "midwinter day"--exactly halfway between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox. I'm grateful to mankh, poet and friend, for pointing this out.]
