one more for Teresa (and by her)

Teresa of Avila (1515-1582) talks to God after her leg is broken when a cart overturns:

if this is how
You treat Your friends
no wonder You have

Teresa was canonized in 1622. Her feast day is October 15.

Attributed to Teresa of Avila. Today (October 15) is her feast day.
