Corpus Christi 2012

The feast of Corpus Christi (The Body of Christ) is celebrated today in Roman Catholic churches. In some parts of the world, the feast is the occasion of elaborate ceremonies.

A different version of this was posted as a comment at Gillena's blog. In Trinidad-Tobago, Gillena's home, the day is treated as a major feast day, with appropriate ceremony.
