polona and T, you obviously find different things here. I suspect they are all here to be found. There is a kind of peace in the image and a sense of something like desolation as well. Where the emphasis falls is up to you.

I love this one, Bill. A perfect haiku, IMHO . . . Great juxtaposition with the circular moon and the carousel. And when you add the kinetic coldness and the silence to it, there is a bit of magic. Nicely done.

Maybe, the moon didn't want to pay the fare for the ride, so the carousel shut down.
