[February 4 is "midwinter day"--exactly halfway between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox. I'm grateful to mankh, poet and friend, for pointing this out.]
As I said to a friend at another site, any ku I write about snow these days are from memory. We've had barely a shovelful all winter in New York City. But I know it's being dumped in great quantities on other places.

Thank you, polona.
A very cold and baren feel to this!! But, then it still is Winter, even if it's half over.
Right, and half to go. :-)
Pat and Vaughn, sounds like together you'd add up to one well-balanced guy.;)
Drop in any time.
Nice Bill. This makes me think how it has been so cold and then it rains. It is like Spring and Winter fighting. Who will win?
Thank you.

Thanks for the visit, T.

Thanks, Juliet. Another reader said this made him feel uncomfortable and cosy at the same time.
