"allusion fusion." The only thing original here is the juxtaposition. Line 1, as many of you will have recognized, is the title of a Billie Holiday classic. According to legend, her recording has been found on the turntable at many suicide scenes. Lines 2-3 are a rough paraphrase of Albert Murray * on what the blues are for. Thus, a fusion of two allusions.
*Author of "South to a Very Old Place," "The Omni-Americans," and "Stomping the Blues," etc.

Thanks, Dianne, Doug, and Frank.
