How beautiful! I like the expression "full of moonlight" very much. We don`t celebrate Thanksgiving here but I hope that you and your family had a wonderful day. Best wishes,Angelika
Polona, Vaughn, Angelika, my deepest thanks.
Oh I missed to reach back here..."chrysanthemum growers—you are the slavesof chrysanthemums!" --- but i grow many other plants as well...and have many other work to do too, Bill...i cannot just afford to be a slave of chrysanthemums :)Buson's haiku is lovely, though..wishes, devika
your haiku is lovely ...i love this one ... why 'full of' and not 'filled with' ... i know you will have made the choice ...i am not suggesting it should be but would love to know ..as always, lovely poetry Bill >>> Gina
I like the way the first line sets the scene and the second two reinforce it.
Thanks, Gina and jem. Gina, I wanted to suggest that it looked as though the moonlight were part of the chrysanthemums' essence, and I felt that "full of" said this more clearly.
