I invite everyone to take up the challenge laid down by Jem: a haiku/senryu on the guy's response.
(Andrew, it sounds as though you would be well qualified.)

Thanks for the comments.

I don't think that I am too qualified that being a guy's response...
and I can't write a haiku on that...

but being a woman who tend to choose losers, I think i'll talk a bit of my experience dealing with many losers...

One guy -- the most demanding of the lot i met -- said he should be the last that I pick..and he's the one i'm married to...and we still are in it :)

But that day, I took a word from him that I would go out of bounds, but would wish to give mindful companionship to any -- man, woman, boy, girl of any age --- in case I feel someone needs it....

and there he agreed wholeheartedly....saying that was what he liked about me :)

so thats it :)

MISSING A WORD makes so much of difference :)

Especially when the word is "not," Devika. Your husband sounds like a good one.

Ah, tikkis, the days of our misspent youth. Wouldn't we like to misspend them again?
