As the new year gets underway, I begin by wishing all a happy one. Thanks for visiting and for your expressions of concern at my extended absence. I should be able to put in more frequent and regular appearances starting now. And, for my fellow bloggers, I'll be stopping by soon.

This poem, which was first published in Failed Haiku, arises from an observation during the time my wife Pat was commencing treatment for breast cancer. All is going well. Women, don't neglect those mammograms!
