I often wonder why the hurry? Cars pass us only to be stopped at the next red light.

Hi Bill..I am here in this 'shrine' of haiku after a long time.. so quietly sat and read through all the haiku written in last 10 months..enjoyed and chrished each one of them..

As I look up while typing sitting in my balcony a haiku came in mind..inspired of course..

Sun shines
stubborn cloud
covers it again...

hope you like it...

Speed as an end in itself, I suspect, Adelaide. Thanks for the visit.

Good to hear from you, Ramesh. I know clouds like that.

Effroyable, indeed, Monika. And the numbers kept climbing. Most disturbing are indications that the train was driven by a speed freak.
