Well done, Bill. This brings out the stark contrast between those of us who are comfortable and have homes and the homeless. All we can share is a doorway for a moment.

the homeless man

My dad had that happen to him. Walking around with no cash, a homeless man approached him for money. When he found that Dad had none on him, he shared his tips for obtaining food. Still brings a lump to my throat.
