teasing out a splinter
from the sole of my foot–
the heat!

Now there's a something to share Bill

yesterday when I commented I was feeling all heat there...and today as Dalloway comments 'fun' I feel like laughing,

there's another reason -- monsoon has started and slow thunder is rolling across the skies...more rains today :)

I like the thought of splinters, if not their actual presence. They seem to show a greater connection between us and the things we touch.
