Roaring whales - how wonderful! Love this one, Bill.
Thanks, polona and aurora. The brook is in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The poem is by Gyodai:In the dawn,Whales roaring;A frosty seatr. R. H. Blyth
I hear their song in the haiku I'm reading!!
Thnaks, pat. Glad to hear it.
Thanks Bill for Gyodai's; I have seen some whales at sea, but not heard them roaring, so now I was a lucky one also! (Perhaps those vessels I was onboard made so much noise that nothing more could not be heard...)
My pleasure, tikkis. An important part of the moment for me was that I've never heard whales roaring, either. But, thanks to Gyodai, there by the brook behind the motel, I could hear them clearly.
