A girl puts an yellow carnation into soldiers rifle(Carnation revolution in Portugal 25.4.74; my mother-in-law is spending her wintertimes in Algarve, Portugal. )
tikkis, putting a flower in the barrel of a rifle was something that happened at demonstrations against the Vietnam war over here. This time around, we have no draft and no (well, few) demonstrations.
