Age and introspection seem to be the current theme(s).
I must confess that i enjoy reading them because my mindset is similar at the moment. Not sure if I should blame the clock or the season - if there's a difference.
Cheers

floots: Not so surprisingly, I didn't know I had any current themes. Thanks for pointing them out.

Things (including seasons) seem to turn increasingly quickly, these days. I am happy to wait a little longer.

But, anon, I'm sure you're not as old as I am. Thanks for your comment.

No. I'm not 72, yet. But I appreciate patience more and more as I go -- as "it" goes by more and more quickly.

I try to focus on making the "in between" times in life meaningful, even if it is just by reading a good book or by taking a nice walk. Or by looking up at the sky. Or by being thankful that I have a roof over my head and money to pay the bills.

So, I will enjoy the leaves when they turn, too. But I will enjoy the pleasant weather in the meantime, as well.
