Thanks, Devika.

The youngest is always young; wars are fought by the young.

I mean no disrespect for the veterans of past wars when I say I pray for the day when there are no more veterans.

O, i agree with you cent percent, Bill...my comment too was not in any disrespect, but in a world, where they don't exactly know what they are fighting for lives suffer on both sides....

But on the other hand, certain wars are to be fought, even if that means dialogue...And I join your prayers, for the day there are no more veterans, Bill...with all due respect,

wishes,
devika

Oh yes, I agree so much with you, Bill, about that time when there will be no more soldiers - no more need of them, because humans will have learned to get along with each other peacefully and accept their differences. But I think that we first will have to establish justice, in order to approach peace. And there is still a long way to go... (But I'm also an adept of that sentence "There is no way to peace - peace is the way" - don't remember who said it, perhaps it was Ghandi).
