Very nice. What an image! I remember a story that my mama has told so many times. There are three chilren in my family. I am the oldest, next is my sister, and my brother is the baby. The morning my baby brother started Kindergarten, Mama had been so proud of herself for not crying. However, as soon as she walked in the door from having dropped him off and saw his beloved "Mr. Lion" (his favorite stuffed animal, quite worn with love) lying on the kitchen counter, the flood gates opened! She cried until noon. There's nothing like a mother's love. :)
I am delighted to be here..looking at world through your haikus.. thanks to Gautami's page ROOTED..I could reach here.. Enjoyed each of your haikus.. would be coming again and again.. God bless!

Thanks, Vaughn and John.
Ah, Kristin. And now I'm a grandfather. It goes on and on. Fortunately.
