turn away from the dark side? -
or remain on course?
i wish... but as long as fanaticism and greed rule the world...
Nothing more to add. Sometimes I think that the wolves are more friendly than the human race?
welcome back bill (in good form)
john
The Dark-side... always fodder for the "Contrary" thinkers; I remain a "Contrary." Very well posed, John. _m
Thanks, all.
I'm with John. )
Hope all is well with you.
You found poetic words for a difficult topci, Bill!
And Tikkis is so right...(about the wolves, the human race).
best wishes,
Angelika

topci works for me Angelika ! ... welcome back Bill ... hope you and yours had a wonderful time ...
your 'exit' poem has the structure of a haibun (an haibun ? heh) ...
exit strategy
finding your way back
from the dark side
as a standalone poem ... i get depression ... you do have a way with words ...
always enjoy your work >>> Gina
Thanks for those good wishes, andrew.
Coffee is sometimes all it takes, Angelika.
This one is rather topical, Gina, but I think that's allowable within the senryu tradition. I don't want to be "overagendaed," as jem puts it in her comment on "accent.".
Your comments are appreciated
Hmmm...kind of backs up Jon Stewart's Cheney/Darth Vader connection....
If only we could recognize the dark side in all of us...
Great work here, Bill.
Thanks, yoga. I think Stewart had that September 2001 quote in mind.
And thank you, lyn.
I'm looking forward to Mayer's book. Like how you used the term here,t oo.
Thanks, patry. My advice is, don't read Mayer just before bedtime; you won't sleep all night.
