bill,
the poems you sent certainly added to the holiday spirit at our house. also thought your poem at magna was great. those kids do get heavier each year. we managed to eek out another white christmas in
our neck of the michigan woods. after 10 inches melted friday and
saturday, we got 2 inches of lake effect snow sunday night.

uspace and ed, thanks for finding time for a holiday visit. Your comments are appreciated.

Ed, that sounds like the kind of Christmas they don't hardly make anymore.

bill,
to say the economy in michigan is bad is a gross understatement. every lump of coal MUST be used for heat.

Yes, Ed, I've heard about Michigan's troubles.Since I spent 6 years in Ann Arbor and my first wife was a Detroit native, I retain some interest in your state,, beyond rooting for the Wolverines.

Thanks, Vaughn. A sense of recognition was the response I was aiming for.
