By the way, I've just been reading about Slovenia in the travel section of Newsday, a newspaper I read regularly. Sounds like a place worth visiting.

bill, thanks for taking interest in our tiny patch of land between the alps and the adriatic sea. i think there's something here for every taste, and the nice thing is, everything is close together. you can go skiing or whitewater rafting, then take a relaxing swim in the spa or dip your feet in the sea, all in a single day (unless you get stuck in traffic jams :))
