journey

night journey . . .
I miss the exit
to my childhood

there's a story in there, has the place changed so much that the turn off is unrecognisable? or is it memory?

Thank you, Gillena

Thanks for the active reading, Juliet. I want this to be open to varying interpretations, including those you mention. "night journey," in addition to its literal meaning, has an archetypal ring to it. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that this is a dream haiku. I wouldn't insist upon it, either.
