first snow
the kitten
lifts her paw
Let's hope we've seen the last snow for a while. By a rare feat of good timing, we were in london when the last big snowstorm hit New York, but we were here for the others. And we got back in time for the big rain that proved more damaging than all the year's snowstorms combined.

Thanks, Henrique (a pleasure to meet you) and Vaughn.
Oh I like this one very much ! We had cats, for years - and I can see her, the kitten, lifting delicately her little paw in this unknown cold, white softness... Thank you Bill, this triggered a lot of tender memories.
Greetings
from London's fog --
sweet snowings at home!
We have an old springlike
saying in Finnish:
the new snow
is killing the old one
