voices

autumn afternoon
children's voices wake me
from a daydream

This one is slightly out of season, and the next few posts will be as well. They were written a while ago, and they have recently been published in Notes from the Gean.

Thanks, Devika and John. The children are presumably coming home from school; they've been at work while the grownup was daydreaming. It certainly is a joyous sound to wake up to.

I just wonder what meaning the autumn is having here ...

Summery days

Ps 2: actually you said it,
autumn = children at school again...

I got another idea:

autumn --
all the long afternoons
by ourselves!
