Yes, we heard about it (and saw it on TV)- toutes nos sympathies ! But since it inspired you such lovely haiku - we nearly have to thank the weather, don't we ? :-)
"The sorrows of life are the joys of art." (Oscar Jaffe)And, if you don't know who Oscar Jaffe is, see Howard Hawks's great 1934 comedy "Twentieth Century," with John Barrymore and Carole Lombard.

We should like to have some snow here in Turku. Cold we have (now -12 Celcius) but just about one inch (2.5 cm) snow. Our showels are still resting. -Ah, I nearly forgot; one small into my car for security needs... Not yet needed!
