wind

the summer wind
bringing her shadow

First published in the farewell issue of A Hundred Gourds, an outstanding online journal of haiku and other Japanese forms. It will be missed. The good news is that the complete archive remains available on line. Just give it a Google, and enjoy.

Breezy.
__I had very often visited, and I'm sorry to see that the 'gourds' will no longer be harvested.
__So interesting: The places and the forms in which a shadow can travel, places that we cannot reach... except by imagination and words such as yours.
