Lovely one. I've been going through lots old family photos recently and at times it feels like they are speaking to me, trying to tell me a bit about their lives that I know nothing about. And of course 'stories' can also suggest lies - it's not true when they say the camera never lies - how many of those smiles are faked?

I love looking at old family photos that were in my parents' house. They tell many stories and create many different impressions.

Thanks, jem, Adelaide, and Gillena. By the way, line 2 was directly inspired by Sarah Polley's fine film "The Stories We Tell."
